Honeymoon in South Africa April 2006 [30 Images]

We had a fantastic time in South Africa on our honeymoon. We stayed near Kruger National Park and saw tons of amazing wildlife. Hope you like the photos!

Indonesia June 2007 [9 Images]

We had a short (basically one full day) visit with our friends Karen and Micheal who had just moved to Bohor from Germany. Karen is a professor at the university and it was fun to explore their new home with them.

Malaysiaian Borneo June 2007 [22 Images]

During our two months working in Singapore, we took a week off to explore Borneo. We spent the first half in the jungle and the second half diving and snorkeling in Sipidan. It was an incredible week!

New Zealand June 2007 [15 Images]

After Singapore we spent two weeks on the South Island of New Zealand for Simon's project and to attend a conference. We went to Doubtful Sound which was just stunning!

Ny Alesund in the Norweign Arctic-July 2007 [30 Images]

We spent three weeks working up in the Arctic for Simon's project. We started the trip with an unexpected but lovely overnight in Oslo. Then it was up to the Arctic to work at a small but very comfortable research station. There are roughly 100 scientists from 20 different countries working in the village. It was an incredible experience and we saw lots of wildlife. There was an Arctic fox den under one of the labs across from our station and the pups kept up entertained! It was fun to be based at a station for Steph at least and we saw lots of friends from the cruise ships too.

Sailing around the Med Sept 2006 [12 Images]

Here are some photos from my first trip on the Island Sky which was called September in the Med

Singapore May and June 2007 [8 Images]

We went back to St. John's Island just off the mainland of Singapore to continue with Simon's research. We even got used to the heat this time and had lots of fun while working hard.

Trip Down Under May and June 2006 [40 Images]

We spent five weeks in Australia working on the temperate part of Simon's project. We started in Tasmania and then were based in Melbourne. The wildlife was so accessable as you will see in the photos.
